Located in the heart of the Richter Campus and easily accessible thanks to the two tram lines that serve it, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montpellier offers a dynamic, friendly study environment that is conducive to success. It benefits from a modern campus equipped with all the resources necessary for studying, getting involved, and thriving: a university library, a university restaurant, and a student union.

Training
The Faculty offers a comprehensive range of economics courses, structured around several Bachelor's degree programs, a dual Bachelor's degree in Economics/Political Science, and a Multidisciplinary Cycle of Higher Education (CPES). These courses provide students with a solid foundation in economic analysis, quantitative methods, and social sciences, while developing skills that are in high demand in many sectors.
At the Master's level, two specializations structure the program offering:
- Currency, Banking, Finance, Insurance (MBFA), comprising several specialized tracks: actuarial science, banking risks, market risks, financial engineering, information systems.
- Economics, offering a wide range of courses covering the major areas of economics: energy economics, environmental economics, development economics, digital economics, public economics, health systems, economic psychology, governance, and public policy.
The programs offered by the Faculty of Economics are distinguished by their strong professional focus (internships, projects, apprenticeships for several courses), close links with research, and excellent career prospects. Graduates thus have access to a wide variety of careers: economic analyst, econometrician, research officer, data scientist, actuary, market or banking finance expert, economic development specialist, teacher, researcher, and many others.
