Faculty of Education

General presentation

The Faculty of Education at the University of Montpellier brings together the staff of the former IUFM at its 5 historic sites in Carcassonne, Mende, Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan.

Among other things, it is the training operator for the Languedoc-Roussillon teacher training college (ESPE-LR).

The Faculty of Education also offers courses on the vocational training environment and educational sciences.

• 5 training sites in the academy (Carcassonne, Mende, Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan), each equipped with Resource Centers offering a wealth of pedagogical and didactic documentation to support the training courses.
• 2,300 students enrolled in the MEEF master's program

• 50 part-time trainers (secondary school professionals)
• 250 associate trainers (master trainers and other professionals from primary and secondary education)
• 116 permanent and contract administrative staff
