Since 2011, the Béziers University Institute of Technology has been located in its new premises on Place du 14 Juillet. Close to the city center, it fits perfectly into the life of this neighborhood, which is already home to the André Malraux Media Library, the Du Guesclin branch of Paul-Valéry University, and the Interregional Center for Occitan Development.
