University Institute of Technology, Nîmes

General overview

Opened in 1968, the Nîmes University Institute of Technology offers technical and vocational training tailored to local and regional needs. An important socio-economic player in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the institute has awarded more than 20,000 degrees since it opened.

A veritable breeding ground for multidisciplinary initiatives (space, accessibility, electric vehicles, FABLAB, innovative materials), the IUT in Nîmes offers project-based teaching. As a result, a quarter of students are enrolled in work-study programs.
