Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT)
Overview
Opened in 1968, the Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT) offers technical and vocational programs tailored to local and regional needs. As a major socio-economic player in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the institute has awarded more than 20,000 degrees since it opened.
A true hub for multidisciplinary initiatives (space, accessibility, electric vehicles, FABLAB, innovative materials), the Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT) offers a project-based educational approach. As a result, one-quarter of the students pursue their studies through a work-study program.
