IUT Nîmes

General presentation

Opened in 1968, the IUT de Nîmes offers technical and professional training tailored to local and regional needs. A major socio-economic player in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the institute has awarded over 20,000 diplomas since its opening.

An incubator for multi-disciplinary projects (space, accessibility, electric vehicles, FABLAB, innovative materials), the IUT de Nîmes offers project-oriented teaching. In fact, a quarter of our students complete their studies on a sandwich course.

Key figures

• 1,200 students (initial training, apprenticeship and continuing education)
• 80% continue their studies (engineering schools, L pro and L3)

• Strong partnerships with companies and organizations (REXEL, CNES, EDF, Eurocopter, etc.)

The IUT de Nîmes offers Bachelors of Technology (BUT) and Professional Licences. These courses take place in 5 thematic departments:
