4th Annual "1% Artistic" Days at the University of Montpellier
Created in 1951, the “1% Artistic” program requires that, whenever a public building is constructed, renovated, or expanded, funding equivalent to one percent of the project cost be allocated to the commissioning or acquisition of one or more works of art.
The purpose of these events is to highlight all of these works of art. Created by established and emerging artists, they form a remarkable open-air collection that traces half a century of artistic creation. They aim to raise broad awareness of this heritage among the general public and the academic community in particular.
