3rd "Avenir de l'Eau" days

May 17 and 18, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parc des Expositions - Hall B1 - Mezzanine - Montpellier
The main aim of the "Avenir de l'Eau - 2016" days is to help develop a network of young professionals in the water sector, whatever their role and context. They also aim to develop links with the business world through interaction with the HydroGaïa trade show.
Scientific event co-organized by Institut Montpellierrain de l'Eau et de l'Environnement (IM2E), Association Internationale des Hydrogéologues (AIH), Association Internationale des Sciences Hydrologiques (AISH), Association Française pour l'Eau, l'Irrigation et le Drainage (AFEID), Comité Scientifique et Technique pour l'Eau Agricole (COSTEA), Pôle Eau, Swelia.

On the program:

• a "Doctoriales de l'irrigation" day;
• presentation of a research-industry collaboration: MATRICS, innovative tools for information sharing in water management;
• a conference: "Irrigation and groundwater. Is sustainable groundwater management possible?" by Mr Hichem Tachrift, Director of the Syndicat mixte de la nappe du Roussillon ;
• business presentations by Lila Collet, post-doc in the UK, Marine Grémont, water economist at BRGM and Nicolas Rampnoux, Development Manager, Véolia;
• presentation of a selection of candidate projects for the Trophée HydroJeune.
