“What is the ChemLab platform used for?”

The Chemistry Research Center's seminar "What is ChemLab used for?" aims to introduce you to the facilities and equipment available on ENSCM's ChemLab platform.

Come and discover the facilities and equipment at ENSCM's ChemLab platform . After a general introduction to the platform, the equipment and facilities available in the laboratories and production workshop will be presented. The managers will outline the activities carried out, particularly in organic synthesis and plant extraction, as well as the purification techniques available. The operation and implementation of the services provided will be explained in detail.

Speakers:

• Dr. Marie-Agnès LACOUR (ENSCM – ChemLab) – Platform manager and head of synthesis and extraction laboratories.
• Clément BUTTIGNOL (ENSCM – ChemLab) – Head of the production workshop and analysis laboratory.

About the speakers:

Marie-Agnès LACOUR is responsible for the ChemLab platform. She is in charge of operations: customer relations, drafting specifications and quotes for services, as well as aspects related to platform certification. She is also responsible for the synthesis and extraction laboratories and is in charge of laboratory-scale services in chemical synthesis and plant extraction using conventional processes or innovative technologies such as microwaves or ultrasound.

Clément BUTTIGNOL is responsible for the production workshop and analysis laboratory at the ChemLab platform. He oversees all chemical synthesis and plant extraction scale-up operations in the production workshop, as well as routine analyses. He is also in charge of inventory and waste management.
