The University of Montpellier’s Science Outreach Department coordinates and organizes exciting evening discussions on topics related to science and society throughout the region. And to kick off the new school year, the Bar des sciences is going live!

The United Nations declared 2011 the International Year of Forests, and in 2019, the Declaration on the Rights of Trees was adopted by the National Assembly.

Shy yet proud, trees are living beings that communicate with one another and interact with their environment.
