This event has already taken place!
Brasserie Le Dôme, 2 Avenue Georges Clémenceau in Montpellier.
The ecological transition and the energy transition are at the forefront of all policy discussions and have become major issues in light of the need to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
In the face of the climate change we are currently experiencing, producing and supplying more affordable, renewable, and clean energy poses a real challenge in contributing to the planet’s sustainable development.
To discuss this topic at the intersection of science and society, three multidisciplinary experts will answer questions from the audience live:
- Nicolas Louvain, Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry, researcher at the Charles Gerhardt Institute of Montpellier (ICGM), and associate professor at the Montpellier-Sète University Institute of Technology.
- Jacques Percebois, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor Emeritus at the University of Montpellier, member of the CNRS ART-Dev Joint Research Unit, and founder of CREDEN (Center for Research Energy Economics and Law).
- Roger Soliva, Ph.D. in Geology, researcher at the Montpellier Geosciences Laboratory, associate professor at the University of Montpellier, and co-director of the Master’s program in Exploration and Reservoir Geology at the University of Montpellier.
