Comics & Sound Art: The 2020–2021 Artist-in-Residence Program

Artists on Campus: This Year’s Residency Is Underway!
Emilie PLATEAU and Ganaëlle MAURY will be visiting the university’s various campuses from September 1, 2020, through December 17, 2021.

Emilie PLATEAU, a comic book author and illustrator, and Ganaëlle MAURY, a visual artist and audio documentary filmmaker, have formed a creative and poetic duo to explore the campuses of the University of Montpellier, meet with you, talk, find inspiration, discover new things, and reflect—because this year, the theme of the residency is “Campus Life in 2020.”

A topic that is sure to spark curiosity, especially in light of the current health crisis!

The challenge has been met, and the project is underway to capture a very special year—one that strays from the usual, familiar paths.
