Two roundtable discussions organized as part of the 2026 Franco-German Fortnight in Occitanie (QFAO), whose overall objectives are to: 

  • promote Franco-German scientific cooperation in the field of health innovation;
  • raise public awareness of major medical advances, such as liquid biopsy;
  • to provide a platform for women scientists in a field where they are underrepresented;
  • increase the visibility of the QFAO, the Montpellier University Hospital, and partner institutions.

  • Richard Jarry, President of the Germany-Occitanie Association – Europe at the Heart.
  • Professor Isabelle Laffont, Dean of the Montpellier-Nîmes School of Medicine.
  • Emmanuelle Garnier, Deputy Director General of the Montpellier-
    University Hospital.
  • Prof. Jean-Paul Cristol, representative of the University of Montpellier and head of the
    Department of Biochemistry and Hormone Research.
  • Michel Robert, president of the Montpellier Academy of Sciences and Letters.
