Liquid Biopsy & Women Scientists: Franco-German Innovations in Oncology and Leadership in Health

Two roundtable discussions organized as part of the 2026 Franco-German Fortnight in Occitanie (QFAO), whose overall objectives are to:
- promote Franco-German scientific cooperation in the field of health innovation;
- raise public awareness of major medical advances, such as liquid biopsy;
- to provide a platform for women scientists in a field where they are underrepresented;
- increase the visibility of the QFAO, the Montpellier University Hospital, and partner institutions.
Opening Remarks, with the confirmed attendance of:
- Richard Jarry, President of the Germany-Occitanie Association – Europe at the Heart.
- Professor Isabelle Laffont, Dean of the Montpellier-Nîmes School of Medicine.
- Emmanuelle Garnier, Deputy Director General of the Montpellier-
University Hospital. - Prof. Jean-Paul Cristol, representative of the University of Montpellier and head of the
Department of Biochemistry and Hormone Research. - Michel Robert, president of the Montpellier Academy of Sciences and Letters.
