Symposium on Geodesy and Geophysics

  • Category:
  • Dates: November 12–14, 2018
  • Hours: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Location:

G2 – Annual Geodesy and Geophysics Conference.
Lecture Hall DR13 CNRS – 1919 route de Mende, 34000 Montpellier.

The aim of G2 2018 is to provide an overview of the latest developments in geodesy and geophysics in terms of instruments and methodologies. By acquiring high-quality or original data, these technologies enable us to improve our knowledge of both solid Earth and hydrology, and to tackle innovative topics.

At the same time, combining these different datasets introduces additional constraints and pushes the limits of each instrument taken independently.

The conference is organized into four sessions:

  • New instrumentation and methodological developments
  • Structural imaging: combination of observations and inversion
  • Dynamic processes: modeling and data assimilation
  • Blank session
