“1 Post Against Racism” Contest
This event has already taken place!
Student graphic design contest to promote republican values and raise awareness about anti-racism.
National Week of Education and Action Against Racism, taking place from March 21 to 28, 2021, is an opportunity for the University of Montpellier to highlight its commitment to combating all forms of discrimination. And since its students are so talented… this year, they’re being invited to express their vision of preventing and taking action against racism and antisemitism through graphic design…
10 Student Projects to Challenge Prejudices
The University of Montpellier is therefore organizing a graphic design contest as part of its program to prevent and combat racism and antisemitism. Based on a single word or phrase, these graphic designs should help break down prejudices and uphold the values of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.
Free and open to students at the University of Montpellier as well as those at institutions in the MUSE consortium (ENSCM, Institut Agro – Montpellier SupAgro, and IAMM). The 10 best entries selected by the jury will serve as the basis for a campaign to raise awareness, educate, and take action against racism and antisemitism among all students and staff of the MUSE consortium and, beyond that, among the general public.
Whether in digital form (via social media) and/or as an exhibition, this campaign highlighting our shared values will be rolled out during the 2021–2022 academic year.
The 10 students who created the selected designs will each receive a FNAC gift card worth 150€.
A contest organized by the Mission for the Prevention and Combating of Racism and Antisemitism in coordination with the Student Vice President, the Office of Campus Life, and the University’s Communications Office.
