GECKO - Improving enGineers' Employability with multi-Competencies, Knowledge and Opportunities - is a capacity-building project co-financed by the European Union's Erasmus+ program.

Over the period 2017-2021, GECKO project partner institutions worked to improve engineering education in three partner countries: Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, through the exchange of best practices and enhanced regional cooperation. The overall aim of the project was to enhance the employability of engineering students by developing training modules using innovative teaching aids and modern teaching technologies to meet the growing multi-skilling needs of the job market.

The final conference aims to present the results and impact of the project, in order to share the GECKO experience and facilitate its replication in other universities in Southeast Asia and other regions.

It will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the form of a webinar on Zoom (in English).
It is open to the general public.
