Faculty of Medicine, anatomy lecture hall – 2, Rue de l’École de Médecine, 34000 Montpellier.
Medical imaging is a specialty that has become indispensable over time for the diagnosis and treatment of a large number of diseases. Teachers also use it to explain anatomy and physiology.
Dr. Christophe Bonnel, a physician deeply involved in innovation at the University Hospital, will provide a brief historical overview of the various materials used by our ancestors to represent the human body, then discuss the main imaging techniques available using still and animated images.
He will review the many educational opportunities available from 1895 to the present day, from Röntgen's X-rays to immersive virtual reality. The Montpellier Faculty of Medicine has always been a pioneer in inventing new and increasingly innovative teaching methods, and this is not about to stop...
This conference will be led by Dr. Christophe Bonnel, Innovation Extractor Project Manager at Montpellier University Hospital.
