Over the years, medical imaging has become an essential tool in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of pathologies. Teachers also use it to explain anatomy and physiology.

Dr. Christophe Bonnel, a physician deeply involved in innovation at CHU, will offer a brief historical overview of the different materials used by our ancestors to represent the human body, and then discuss the main imaging techniques available, using still and moving images.

He will explore the many educational possibilities available from 1895 to the present day, from Röntgen's X-rays to immersive virtual reality. Montpellier's Faculty of Medicine has always been a pioneer in inventing new and ever more innovative teaching methods, and that's not about to stop...

This conference will be led by Dr Christophe Bonnel, "Extracteur d'innovation" project manager at Montpellier University Hospital.
