Conference on “Medical Imaging and Innovative Teaching Methods”
This event has already taken place!
Faculty of Medicine, Anatomy Lecture Hall – 2 Rue de l’École de Médecine, 34000 Montpellier.
Medical imaging is a specialty that has, over time, become indispensable for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Educators also use it to explain anatomy and physiology.
Dr. Christophe Bonnel, a physician deeply involved in innovation at the University Hospital, will provide a brief historical overview of the various materials used by our predecessors to depict the human body, and will then discuss the main imaging techniques available, using both still and moving images.
It will thus explore the wide range of educational opportunities available from 1895 to the present day, from Röntgen’s X-rays to immersive virtual reality. The Montpellier School of Medicine has always been a pioneer in developing increasingly innovative teaching methods, and this trend shows no signs of slowing down…
This conference will be led by Dr. Christophe Bonnel, “Innovation Facilitator” at Montpellier University Hospital.
