  • Dates: April 18, 2017
  • Schedule: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Location:

Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What role do engineers play in addressing the major scientific and environmental challenges of today and tomorrow? This is the question that Gilles Pipien, an engineer from the École des Ponts, des Eaux et des Forêts, will explore.
The conference will provide an opportunity to rethink how we balance the economy and biodiversity, and to explore how nature can serve as a source of inspiration through biomimicry. This marks another strong demonstration of Polytech Montpellier’s commitment to its sustainable development and social responsibility (SDSR) initiative.
The conference will be followed by a bioethics reception.
