2017 Conference of the French Political Science Association (AFSP)

School of Law and Political Science, Building 1 (39 Rue de l’Université and Rue de l’École de Mage) and Building 2 (14 Rue du Cardinal de Cabrières and Rue Lallemand)

The 14th AFSP Congress will take place from July 10 to 12, 2017, in Montpellier at the University of Montpellier’s Faculty of Law and Political Science. For the first time in its history, the Association—founded in 1949—will hold its national conference in one of the most important cities along the Mediterranean coast. This new gathering of the French political science community will take place in partnership with the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Montpellier, the CEPEL and the CIRAD. Given its scale (with nearly 1,000 participants expected), this conference will highlight one of the most dynamic centers of French political science in the region. It will also strengthen the future organization of research among the various academic centers in the field.
