This year, students in the Master 1 Nutrition and Food Science program are responsible for organizing the traditional conference, on the theme of nutrition in extreme environments, which will take place on November 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The aim of this project is to answer the following question:"How can we feed ourselves in extreme conditions and climates?"

Food is one of the pillars of our health and life, especially when it comes to pushing our limits. That is why the concept of "extreme environments" will be introduced before we look at several sub-topics, such as risk areas (war zones, polluted areas, or areas affected by natural disasters), the impact of these extreme environments on health (psychological and physiological aspects) and physical performance, and the main techniques for food conditioning and storage.

The speakers will share their experiences and knowledge on the various topics covered.
