On November 29, the Corporation Nîmoise des Étudiants Sage-Femme is organizing an event at the Faculté de Médecine de Nîmes, in collaboration with the Corporation Carabin Crocodile and local associations, as part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (a European initiative to promote and support awareness-raising and sustainable management of resources and waste).

A wide range of topics will be covered during the day: composting, recycling, reuse, reconditioning and second life, zero waste, food waste, ecological alternatives, energy transition, etc.

The aim of this event is to raise awareness of issues relating to the ecological transition and sustainable development, and to take action through concrete projects: installation of a collective composter, inauguration of a donation library, implementation of a vegetable basket system... The aim is also to involve students and the university community, and to create links between the various local sites and universities so as to be able, why not, to collaborate on projects in the future.
