CSIP Pedagogical Day: Professional pedagogical development for student success and training attractiveness
How can we leverage professional development to boost student success and the attractiveness of our courses?
As part of its "Pedagogical Day", the Centre de Soutien à l'Innovation Pédagogique (CSIP) is organizing a conference on the theme of professional development for higher education teachers as a lever for student success and the attractiveness of training courses.
The aim is to discuss the following issues:
Transform practices to better adapt to the growing heterogeneity of the student population... Get involved in a dynamic of pedagogical transformation...
Why is this so? What are the concrete benefits in terms of student success?
How can we help? Professional development: a career-long training approach? (Updating teaching practices, using reflective approaches...)
How can it contribute to the development of skills linked to the exercise of the profession? How can it be facilitated? What support mechanisms exist for university teachers?

To discuss these major issues in higher education, we're delighted to welcome Christelle Lison, a professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, Université de Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada).
This conference is accompanied by a training workshop in the afternoon.
