CSIP Teaching Day: Professional development in teaching for student success and the attractiveness of training programs
This event has passed!
How can professional development levers be used to enhance student success and the attractiveness of training programs?
As part of its "Teaching Day" event, the Center for Support of Teaching Innovation (CSIP) is hosting a conference on the topic of professional development for higher education teachers as a lever for student success and the attractiveness of training programs.
The goal is to discuss the following questions:
Transforming practices to promote greater adaptation to the growing diversity of the student population... Getting involved in a dynamic process of educational transformation...
Why? What are the concrete benefits in terms of student success?
How? Professional development: a lifelong learning approach? (Updating teaching practices, relying on reflective approaches, etc.)
How can it contribute to the development of skills related to the profession? How can it be facilitated? What support mechanisms are in place for university teachers?

To discuss these major issues in higher education, we are pleased to welcome Christelle Lison, professor in the Department of Education at the Faculty of Education at the University of Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada).
This conference is accompanied by a training workshop offered in the afternoon.
