Genopolys (Occitanie tram station)

On the initiative of the National Consultative Ethics Committee (CCNE), the Occitanie Ethical Reflection Space is organizing the first regional bioethics meetings from February 1 to April 5, 2018, which will bring together the general public, specialists, and experts in health, research, and the humanities and social sciences.

The National Bioethics Forum: what is its purpose?

A revision of the 2011 law on bioethics is planned for 2018. In order to involve citizens in this revision process, a series of public debates on bioethics will be held throughout France in the first quarter of 2018. The aim is to enable everyone to engage in a wide-ranging debate. The CCNE will produce a summary of the discussions.
This meeting will be led by Professor Pascal Pujol, an oncologist and geneticist, and moderated by a journalist.
