Thursday, February1, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Genopolys (Occitanie Tram Station)

At the initiative of the National Consultative Ethics Committee (CCNE), the Occitanie Ethics Forum is organizing the region’s first bioethics meetings from February 1 to April 5, 2018, which will bring together the general public, specialists, and experts in health, research, and the humanities and social sciences.

What is the purpose of the National Bioethics Conference?

A revision of the 2011 Bioethics Act is scheduled for 2018. To involve citizens in this revision process, a series of public forums on bioethics will be held throughout France in the first quarter of 2018. Their aim is to provide a platform for broad public debate. The CCNE will produce a summary of the discussions.
This meeting will be led by Prof. Pascal Pujol, an oncogeneticist, and moderated by a journalist.
