At the initiative of the National Consultative Ethics Committee (CCNE), the Occitanie Ethics Forum is organizing the region’s first bioethics meetings from February 1 to April 5, 2018, which will bring together the general public, specialists, and experts in health, research, and the humanities and social sciences.
The National Bioethics Forum: What Is Its Purpose?
A revision of the 2011 Bioethics Act is scheduled for 2018. To involve citizens in this revision process, the National Bioethics Forum is being organized throughout France in the first quarter of 2018. Its goal is to enable everyone to engage in a broad debate. The CCNE will compile a summary of the discussions.
This event will feature Professor Pascal Pujol, an oncogeneticist, and will be moderated by a journalist.
