“NUTRITION AND SPORTS – Nutrition to Enhance Athletic Performance” is the theme for the 2020 annual conference organized by students in the Master’s 1 program in Nutrition and Food Science at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier. The goal of this event is to help the general public learn more about how to tailor one’s diet to athletic performance.

In collaboration with the CREPS in Montpellier (Center for Resources, Expertise, and Sports Performance), students in the NSA Master’s 1 program organized this conference despite the current health situation, offering everyone the opportunity to participate. Redesigned as a virtual conference for this special occasion, the event will take place on December 1, 2020, on the Zoom platform from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., hosted from the RapidMOOC facility at the School of Pharmacy.

This is the first time the event will be held in a digital format. The program features presentations by Ms. Véronique Rousseau, a dietitian and nutritionist at INSEP in Paris and a former elite judo athlete, and Ms. Thiebaud, a dietitian, nutritionist, and doctor of food science specializing in sports nutrition at CREPS in Montpellier.
