Exhibition: “Art and Anatomy: Crossed Drawings Atger Museum / Fabre Museum”

Following government announcements, the "Art & Anatomy" exhibition will be closed on October 30 and 31, 2020.

Atger Museum, Faculty of Medicine (historic building), Monday to Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (extended opening hours during the exhibition).
Fabre Museum, Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Fabre Museum and the Atger Museum are swapping their collections of drawings for an exhibition on the theme of the body at the Fabre Museum and the theme of the face and portraiture at the Atger Museum.

Thanks to this unprecedented collaboration, the general public will be able to discover masterpieces on two subjects that have always fascinated artists and doctors alike. Visitors to the Fabre Museum will also be able to admire the magnificent illustrated anatomy treatises from the historic university medical library.

This event is being held as partof the 800th anniversary celebrations of the Faculty of Medicine in Montpellier.
