Questioning the notions of displacement, invasion, growth and plasticity, the students, with the support of their teachers, developed visual proposals in a variety of media: sculpture, drawing, video, photography, installation...

The blob, whose scientific name is physarum polycephalum, is a single-cell organism capable of learning and memorizing information. It can also learn from its congeners, by merging. Through various experiments, researchers have found that when blobs are placed side by side - one experienced, the other inexperienced - the new individual responds to the same characteristics as the experienced one. The process is repeated for all blobs that merge. Once separated, they regain their original memory. On the other hand, a blob cut into pieces becomes as many individual and completely identical blobs, but these can collaborate to merge again to become a larger specimen, capable of finding the way out of a labyrinth by taking the shortest route.
