L'Humain dans son jardin" photography exhibition

Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 8pm; Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.

Produced by photographer Cédric Matet, in artistic and scientific dialogue with Prof. Gérald Chanques, the exhibition is a final celebration of 800 years of the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting between the artist and the doctor inspired the design of a project combining emblematic pieces from the anatomy conservatory with plants from the Faculty's botanical garden, in the spirit of the masters of Montpellier's medical university who, since the Middle Ages, have studied the human being in its entirety and in all its dimensions, including its natural environment and the arts.

This garden exhibition will be complemented in autumn by the work of two guest digital artists, Jane Kleis and Luc Parat, who will create video pieces that create digital continuity, pushing back the boundaries of garden and museum in a more intimate and immersive experience.
