Exhibition: “The Founders of the Faculty of Medicine in the 20th Century”

Historic building of the Faculty of Medicine (city center), Teckné Makré Room – 2 rue de l’Ecole de Médecine, Montpellier.

Wednesday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This exhibition presents the evolution of the buildings and sites of the Faculty of Medicine since the last centenary in 1921, based on the archives of Dean Gaston Giraud.

It traces the work carried out on the historic building and the biology institute, the creation of the Nîmes branch, the extension of the faculty to the north of Montpellier, and the evolution of the Jardin des Plantes.
