Exhibition: “The Founders of the School of Medicine in the 20th Century”

Historic building of the School of Medicine (downtown), Teckné Makré Hall – 2 rue de l’Ecole de Médecine, Montpellier.

Wednesday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This exhibition traces the evolution of the Faculty of Medicine’s buildings and campuses since its last centennial in 1921, drawing on the archival collection of Dean Gaston Giraud.

It chronicles the work carried out on the historic building and the biology institute, the establishment of the Nîmes branch, the expansion of the faculty toward the northern part of Montpellier, and the evolution of the Botanical Garden.
