Documentary film “Des Goûts de Lutte” (Tastes of Wrestling)

Preview screening of the documentary “Des Goûts de Lutte” at the Diagonal Cinema on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the directors, moderated by Cécile Hautefeuille, journalist at Médiapart. In partnership with LDH, Politis, Les Amis du Monde Diplo, and La Cavale bookstore.

Synopsis:

In 2018, they broke into politics. By putting on a yellow vest, they rebelled for the first time in their lives.

The film tells the story of what happened afterwards.

Through their intersecting paths, we see how their lives have been changed: put on hold, twisted, or illuminated by this decisive experience that will, in one way or another, politicize their existence. Echoing the narrative of other uprisings, the film questions the places of citizenship and the emancipatory power of revolt.
