On April 2, 2026, the Vauban Campus of Nîmes University will host the Occitanie regional final of My Thesis in 180 Seconds (MT180). Come discover science in a new way and cheer on the young researchers of our region!
After three days of training in rhetoric, public speaking, and scientific communication, the class of 2026 doctoral students at the Montpellier Academy is ready to present their theses... in three minutes flat!
The 20 doctoral students will take to the stage to take on this exceptional challenge: presenting their research project in a clear, captivating, and convincing manner, with only one slide to support their presentation.
This local final is much more than a presentation: it is a true scientific public speaking contest, where the audience plays a key role by voting for their favorite candidate and encouraging the region's next generation of scientists.
