The Capacity Building program, led by the University of Montpellier’s University Innovation Hub, offers targeted training in innovation and research commercialization. Through thematic modules led by experts, it supports the professional development of professionals involved in innovative projects.

On September 8, Module 5 of the “Public-Private Research Project Funding” course will focus on the funding agencies’ review process and expectations. It is intended for staff who wish to better understand the evaluation criteria used by funding agencies and identify the key factors for the success of selected projects.

This session will cover, among other topics:

  • an understanding of the evaluation criteria applied by public funding agencies in the context of collaborative research projects (ANR, Horizon Europe, RAPID, Bpifrance, etc.);
  • identifying the key success factors for funded projects, in terms of their scientific, partnership, economic, and impact dimensions;
  • analyzing examples of selected projects to identify best practices in positioning, project storytelling, and consortium structure.
