Water4Future Student Hackathon
This event has already taken place!
The UNESCO ICIREWARD International Center, the first UNESCO center dedicated to freshwater in France, is bringing together students from around the world for a “Water4Future” hackathon to find innovative solutions.

Create – Innovate – Test
The UNESCO ICIREWARD International Center has launched Water4Future (W4F). This program is offered in three formats: for juniors, high school students, and college students.
The student edition is an international competition: the Water4Future Student Hackathon. Working in teams of 5 to 7, participants have 48 hours to develop an innovative, technical, and social project addressing a theme related to water issues.
The goal is to create a team project, foster entrepreneurship, and develop new, innovative tools, technologies, or services to protect our environment and improve everyone’s daily life.
