May 25 at 8 p.m. – Montpellier City Hall, meeting room. A documentary produced by five students from the Political Science Department will be screened at Montpellier City Hall.

As part of their Personal Professional Project (PPP), five third-year political science students decided to make a 52-minute documentary on the issues surrounding the future soccer stadium. They interviewed the main players and observers involved in the project—the mayor of Montpellier, MHSC officials, local sports journalists, etc.—as well as residents of the Paillade neighborhood who are concerned about the disappearance of the sports venue.

This documentary reveals the complexity and depth of the relationship between Montpellier residents and the city's historic soccer stadium, whether in terms of urban policy, the sports economy, or affection for a place that defines a neighborhood's identity and makes its residents proud to live there. The project has generated keen interest and enthusiasm among stakeholders, to such an extent that the Mayor of Montpellier has invited the students to preview their documentary at City Hall on Friday, May 25, in the meeting room at 8 p.m.
