  • Category:
  • Dates : January 10 to February 11, 2022
  • Opening hours: 08h00 - 22h30
  • Location:

A photographic exhibition at the BU Sciences organized by the CARABES association.

The original project INVERTEDDEX supported by the student association CARABES (Comité Associatif de Research Appliquée dans la Biodiversité des ÉcosystèmeS) at the University of Montpellier aims to develop a mobile application that will enable users to carry out naturalist surveys and easily identify invertebrates in their natural environment.

To provide this tool with a bank of quality images, a photo competition open to all has been organized for summer 2021.

Running until February 11, 2022, this exhibition showcases the best shots taken by the competition winners and illustrates the various aspects of this ambitious outreach project, which has received support from the Faculty of Science and the University's FSDIE . It provides an educational introduction to the operating principle of this application, which puts the scientific approach at the service of the general public and knowledge of biodiversity.
