Play Areas, Reading, and Perception of Shared Space in Sports and Dance

This day of discussion, reflection, and physical exploration will focus on different models of perception of (and within) space, to understand the coordination of our movements and the organization of our collective behaviors. Through various games and exercises, it will analyze how we establish—sometimes without realizing it—patterns of positioning and movement in space and time. These models will be examined in our collective behaviors, whether in the pursuit of a common goal, such as in sports, or in aesthetic and historical patterns, such as in dance.
