Live Q&A: The Chinese New Year in 12 Questions!
This event has already taken place!
Live on the "Ecran de savoirs" YouTube channel.
Come test your knowledge during a live YouTube show—with family, friends, or on your own—from the comfort of your couch. This initiative is part of a brand-new educational format: “Le live en questions” on the “Écran de savoirs” YouTube channel.
The “Live Q&A” is open to everyone, and you don’t need to be an expert on the topic to participate. All you need is a desire to have a great time full of new discoveries while testing your knowledge alongside a researcher who specializes in the topic and student organizations.
The idea is to explore a specific topic alongside experts, include a quiz, and host a competition featuring student organizations and the online audience on the “Écran de savoirs” YouTube channel. The goal is to help strengthen the Science and Society dialogue in the Eastern Occitanie region by sharing scientific content in a fun and engaging way.
Following a pilot event on the topic of parasites, on Monday, February 21, we’ll have the chance to discover—or rediscover—the traditions and parades that make the Chinese New Year such a unique celebration.
An expert has been invited especially for the occasion to correct the quiz live and answer questions from the audience:
- Solange Cruveillé, Associate Professor of Chinese Language and Literature at Paul Valéry University of Montpellier, member of the research team on the South and the East (UPVM), and associate member of the Institute for Asian Studies (AMU/CNRS).
For this edition, students from Paul-Valéry University took part in the challenge on camera. You can discover all their answers exclusively on the night of the live broadcast!
