Live in questions: the Chinese New Year in 12 questions!

Test your knowledge during a live broadcast on YouTube with family, friends or alone, from the comfort of your sofa. This proposal is part of a brand new format for the dissemination of knowledge: "Le live en questions" on the YouTube channel "Écran de savoirs".

The live in questions is for everyone and it is not necessary to have great knowledge on the subject to participate. You just have to want to have a good time rich in discoveries by testing your knowledge in the company of a researcher who is a specialist in the theme and student associations.

The principle is to deal with a specific theme in the company of experts, to add a quiz and to launch a match with student associations and the online public on the YouTube channel "Écran de savoirs". The objective is to contribute to strengthening the dialogue between Science and Society in the Occitanie Est region by enabling the dissemination of scientific content in a fun way.

After a first pilot edition on the subject of parasites, on Monday 21 February it will be a question of discovering or rediscovering the traditions and parades that make the Chinese New Year a unique holiday.

An expert is invited especially for the occasion with the mission of correcting the quiz live and answering questions from the public:

• Solange Cruveillé, Lecturer in Chinese Language and Literature, Paul Valéry Montpellier University, member of the research team on the Souths and the Orients – (UPVM) and associate member of the Institute of Asian Research (AMU/CNRS).

For this edition, students from the Paul-Valéry University took part in the game in front of the camera. All their answers are to be discovered exclusively on the evening of the live!
