Anxious school refusal: recognizing it better, understanding it better to treat it better

The term "anxious school refusal" refers to a form of school absenteeism, either total or partial.
The student's refusal or reluctance to go to school is due to intense anxiety (fear or panic).
It will be interesting to understand this disorder by learning more about the anxiety disorders that children and young adolescents experience.
Based on their description, we will discuss specific treatments drawing on the experience of the specialized unit, which opened more than 10 years ago at Montpellier University Hospital.
