The Arborescence inter-association is a group of five associations working to promote biodiversity and the environment in the Hérault region.
- Artio is the association of students and graduates of the Master's program in Environmental and Biodiversity Management at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Montpellier.
- Fiber Nature is an association whose goal is to contribute to a better understanding of biodiversity throughout France while introducing the general public to nature in order to protect natural sites.
- The GNaUM, or Naturalist Group of the University of Montpellier, is a student association open to the general public, offering lectures, inventories, workshops, and nature outings.
- Terre Étudiante de Montpellier 3, or TÉM3, is the student environmental association at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier.
- 1 Diplômé 1 Arbre is a student association working to restore degraded environments through sustainable tree and hedge planting initiatives.
Arborescence was created to strengthen relations between associations committed to protecting the environment. Based on the idea that "unity is strength," this dynamic environmental association aims to increase the importance and influence of events related to the environment and biodiversity. The collective draws on the expertise of various associations in a range of fields and on their complementary strengths.
This year, Arborescence is organizing the second edition of the event "Les 8 jours de la biodiversité" (8 Days of Biodiversity). From February 12 to 19, come learn and exchange ideas during conferences, round tables, film discussions, and nature outings to marvel even more at the nature that surrounds us.
