Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

Nearly two years after ChatGPT was made available to the public—a development that sparked strong reactions among stakeholders in higher education—the University of Montpellier, committed to integrating digital technology to advance pedagogy, invites you to explore the diverse perspectives of education professionals on generative AI. We will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on education, examining its effects, its various applications, its limitations, and the innovative possibilities it offers.

Roundtable moderated by David Cassagne, Vice President for Digital Technology in Education at the University of Montpellier.
