The Arts and Culture Days in Higher Education (JACES) will be held on April 3, 4, and 5 upcoming. This national operation organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research Innovation with the support of the Ministry of Culture, aims to promote public awareness of the university's living and cultural spaces.

Anatomy(ies) – 1 journey, 3 locations, 10 artists / art exhibition


The exhibition "Anatomie(s)" (Anatomy/Anatomies), conceived in partnership between the Musée Atger and two galleries in Montpellier, invites ten contemporary artists to explore the theme of anatomy. The Musée Atger's classic nude drawings and academic studies are combined with contemporary visual artworks.

Services provided by nature / photo exhibition

This exhibition invites us to reflect on how nature provides services that are essential to our survival at every moment. Through a series of images tirelessly captured during his travels, Guilhem Battistella, a former UM student and member of the GNUM (Montpellier University Naturalist Group), invites us to reconnect with our environment.

The Red Island / photo exhibition

This exhibition is the result of the "Protect Mada" project led by six ecology students from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Montpellier, which aims to create a community-managed marine protected area (CMMPA) on the island of Nosy Lava, a threatened jewel in northern Madagascar.

Words from Women and Under the Sign of Women / photo exhibition


Sylvie Goussopoulos' portraits in Mots d'Elles highlight the exemplary careers of women working at the university. Each portrait is accompanied by a personal account, evoking the role model who inspired these women in their careers and lives.

In – useful, a photographic journey / photo exhibition


Photographer Maxcasa presents an exhibition born from the encounter between dance and photography. His keen eye captures the bodies set in motion by choreographer Leonardo Montecchia (Cie de la Mentira), who spent several months in residence at the University of Montpellier in 2015 and 2016.
