Strengthening the link between education and research is one of the missions of the Pôles de Research at the University of Montpellier. Two disciplines far apart, yet working together to educate future generations of researchers.

The^1st Rencontres(3i) formation-recherche (3i Training-Research Meetings) is a half-day event dedicated to projects and schemes for developing and financing educational systems geared to the training-research link, in the fields of biology, health, global health and chemistry.

A round table will also be held to develop structured international partnerships, and to share best practices and issues in the field in order to inspire, integrate and innovate in the field of research training.
