Sleep is a major determinant of our health: memory and learning, metabolism, immunity... It's now a proven fact that sleep is crucial for many biological and cognitive functions, but over the past quarter century, the quality of sleep in France has been deteriorating.

Sleep disorders are numerous and affect everyone: women, men, toddlers, children and teenagers, adults and the elderly. In the long term, they have a major impact on quality of life.

To discuss this science and society topic, two multidisciplinary experts will be on hand to answer questions from the audience:

  • Valérie Cochen De Cock, Neurologist, sleep and vigilance specialist at the sleep and neurology unit of the Clinique Beausoleil in Montpellier.
  • Cécile Priou, Psychiatrist, specialist in the treatment of sleep disorders in clinics and consultations. Cognitive-behavioral therapies.
