Sleep is a major determinant of our health: memory and learning, metabolism, immunity... It is now proven that sleep is crucial for many biological and cognitive functions; however, for a quarter of a century, the quality of sleep among French people has been deteriorating.

Sleep disorders are widespread and affect everyone: women, men, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Ultimately, they have a significant impact on quality of life.

To discuss this topic of science and society, two multidisciplinary experts will answer questions from the audience live:

  • Valérie Cochen De Cock, Neurologist , sleep and alertness specialist at the sleep and neurology center at the Beausoleil Clinic in Montpellier.
  • Cécile Priou, Psychiatrist , specialist in the treatment of sleep disorders in clinics and consultations. Cognitive behavioral therapies.
