“The Influence of AI on the Evolution of Scientific Documentaries and Other Science-Related Visuals”

For its^7th edition, the Sud de Sciences Film and Science Visuals Festival is organizing a special event for students and professionals on the theme: “The Influence of AI on the Evolution of Scientific Documentaries and Other Science Visuals”

The event will be based on feedback and questions from the audience, with contributions from scientists and audiovisual professionals. It will provide an opportunity for lively discussion and inspiration on the broader topic of AI and its impact on the public perception of science. The afternoon will feature several thematic roundtables, including screenings of film clips or short-form content.

An afternoon hosted by journalist Philomène Bon (Arte) and Frédéric Feu (CIST), featuring scientists and engineers from LIRMM and Les Halles de L’IA, as well as filmmakers, video technicians, photographers, and students and teachers from various fields of study.

In partnership with ARTE CAMPUS, the Libraries / Collection Development Department of the University of Montpellier, with support from the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.
