31st edition of the Pride march

On June 14, the^31stedition of the Pride Parade will set off from Promenade Peyrou in Montpellier. This event, organized by the association "Fierté Montpellier Pride," aims to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ people and fight for their rights.

Strongly committed to fighting all forms of discrimination, notably through its week-long campaign against LGBT+phobia, and as the first university to sign the L’autre Cercle charter, the University of Montpellier is once again joining forces with the student association Narvalum for this year's event. 

The University of Montpellier and Narvalum invite you to join them at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier for the^31stedition of #PrideMontpellier 2025.

Two-part program: 

June 13, 2025:

• Community village from 2 p.m.
• Solidarity cocktail party starting at 7 p.m.

June 14, 2025:

• Peyrou Gardens from 12 noon
• Start of the march and floats [Not announced yet]
• Pride cocktail party and concert at 7 p.m.

For the start of the march on the same day, the University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Narval-UM association, will have a float decorated on the theme of "Chimera and Witchcraft."

The NARVAL-UM association is a new association promoting LGBT+ values and friendships at the University of Montpellier. Its mission is to: 

• Culture, by initiating and promoting cultural projects of various kinds.
• Listening to and advising LGBT+ individuals, fighting against all forms of discrimination, rejection, and isolation (future permanent presence within the University).
• Prevention, by raising awareness of issues related to sexuality, sexual health, and gender.
