31st Pride Parade

On June 14, the Pride Parade will set off from the Promenade Peyrou in Montpellier for its^31stedition. This event, organized by the“Fierté Montpellier Pride” association, aims to raise awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community and advocate for their rights.

Deeply committed to combating all forms of discrimination—notably through its week-long campaign against LGBT+phobia—and as the first university to sign the L’autre Cercle Charter, the University of Montpellier is once again joining this event alongside the student association Narvalum. 

The University of Montpellier and Narvalum invite you to join them starting at 2 p.m. on the Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier on Saturday, June 14, for the^31stedition of #PrideMontpellier 2025.

Two-part program: 

June 13, 2025:

• Community Fair starting at 2 p.m.
• Solidarity cocktail party starting at 7 p.m.

June 14, 2025:

• Peyrou Gardens starting at 12 p.m.
• Start of the march and parade [To be announced]
• Pride Happy Hour and concert at 7 p.m.

For the start of the parade on the same day, the University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Narval-UM association, will feature a float decorated with a “Chimera and Witchcraft” theme.

The NARVAL-UM association is a new organization promoting LGBT+ values and friendships at the University of Montpellier. Its mission is: 

• Culture, by initiating and promoting cultural projects of various kinds.
• Support and counseling for LGBT+ individuals, working to combat all forms of discrimination, rejection, and isolation (future drop-in center at the University).
• Prevention, by raising awareness of issues related to sexuality, sexual health, and gender.
