Pride Parade – Montpellier 2026

The 33rd Montpellier Pride Parade will take place on June 19 and 20, 2026. Organized by the Fierté Montpellier Pride association, this event aims to promote the visibility of LGBTQIA+ people and defend their rights.

Deeply committed to combating all forms of discrimination—notably through its awareness week against LGBT+phobia—and as the first university to sign the L’Autre Cercle Charter, the University of Montpellier is once again joining forces with theUM association for this event.

Program

Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m.

• charity cocktail parties;
• meetings and discussions with LGBTQIA+ organizations;
• a fun-filled Pride kickoff.

Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m.

• community village in Le Peyrou;
• activities and workshops;
• Pride Parade through the streets of Montpellier (schedule to be confirmed);
• tanks, DJs, and artistic performances;
• Pride Closing Reception. 

To mark the start of the march, the University of Montpellier and theUM associationUM a float decorated with a “retro-futuristic” theme.

TheUM AssociationUM New Association Promoting LGBT+ Values and Friendships) is active at the University of Montpellier and focuses on several missions:

• promote a variety of cultural projects;
• provide support and guidance to LGBT+ individuals;
• to combat discrimination, rejection, and isolation;
• raise awareness about issues related to sexuality, sexual health, and gender.
