Pride March

Montpellier, Jardin du Peyrou.

For the second time, the University of Montpellier, in partnership with theNarval-UM student and staff associationwill be taking part in the Marche des fiertés on Saturday July 20 in Montpellier.

Pride Marches are celebrating their fiftieth anniversary: they were organized in the wake of the Stonewall riots in the United States in 1969. They are a festive opportunity to demand freedom and equality of sexual orientation and gender identity.

The UM's participation in this event is in line with its policy of combating all forms of discrimination and its involvement in symbolic events organized on its territory.

Students and staff, LGBTI + and non-LGBTI, with family and friends, are invited to gather around the UM float in the Jardin du Peyrou from 4pm.
