There is increasing talk of alternative teaching methods. Are they a passing fad or a fundamental trend that reflects the evolution of our societies? How can they be defined? Are Freinet and Montessori fighting the same battle? Can they transform the education system or are they just exclusive schools?
A comprehensive approach is needed. How can we design a new education system that takes into account the whole child? How can we change the way we think about education, while recognizing the urgency of environmental and societal challenges?
We will answer these questions during this meeting. We will see that this is not a utopian dream but a major challenge in designing, within the public education system, a pedagogy for all that is supportive and empowering.
In order to comply with health guidelines, all Mercredis des Savoirs conferences will be held remotely via videoconference
