We're hearing more and more about alternative pedagogies. Are they just a passing fad, or a fundamental trend revealing the evolution of our societies? How can we define them? Are Freinet and Montessori fighting the same battle? Can they transform the education system, or are they schools for the privileged?

We need to think globally. How can we design a new form of education that takes the whole child into account? How can we change the way we think about education, while taking into account the urgency of environmental and societal challenges?

We'll be answering these questions during this meeting. We'll see that it's not just a utopian dream, but a major challenge if we are to design a pedagogy for all within the public education system that is both inclusive and emancipating.
