How can you start a business or join its management team? How can you contribute your scientific expertise to a company that leverages public research?

The University of Montpellier’s Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics is hosting a presentation on public-private partnerships established under the PACTE and LPR innovation laws. The event is open to staff members of the I-SITE Program of Excellence (formerly MUSE) upon registration.

In fact, recent legislative changes have created more opportunities for collaboration between the public research sector and the private sector. Public employees are now able to start or help start a business and contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the business commercializes public research. In recent years, two laws have simplified these procedures.

A presentation on the various existing programs will be followed by a Q&A session, during which we will answer your questions.
