Public-Private Partnerships: From Innovation to Participation in Starting a Business or in the Operations of an Existing Business
This event has already taken place!
How can you start a company or help lead one? How can you contribute your scientific expertise to a company that leverages the results of public research?
The University of Montpellier’s Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics is organizing a presentation on public-private partnerships established under the innovation laws—PACTE and LPR. The event is open to staff members of the I-SITE (formerly MUSE) Excellence Program’s partners upon registration.
In fact, recent legislative changes have created more bridges between the worlds of public research and business. Public employees now have the option to start or help start a business and contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the business commercializes public research. In recent years, two laws have simplified these provisions.
A presentation on the various existing programs will be followed by a discussion session, during which we will answer your questions.
