A few decades after their invention, plastics have permeated even the most intimate corners of our lives and our history. Multinational corporations employ millions of people to continue making this material more widely available, even though it leaves an irreversible mark by contaminating our environment and our bodies for centuries to come.

Identifying our impact on micro- and nanoplastics, understanding both the danger and the solution, and answering your questions during a lecture / talk with Nathalie Gontard—a researcher at INRAE—and Hélène de Bissy, an actress at La Baignoire, a venue for contemporary writing, and the Cie Doré in Montpellier—to write together the next chapters in the story of this alluring yet dangerously addictive and invasive material.
