CultureSciences - young people's commitment to repairing the world.

As part of the Les CultureSciences cycle, the Institut Agro Montpellier, in partnership with the UM, is organizing an exceptional screening and discussion of the film "Bigger Than Us" by Flore Vasseur, director and producer of an inspiring documentary on youth involvement around the world, on Tuesday February 6 at 6pm on the La Gaillarde campus.

Bigger Than Us is a film about youth. About their lucidity, their refusal to see our world go under. It's also a film about the fragility and beauty of life on this planet, our common good, where the joy and art of doing things together, of fighting together, can still prevail.

It's a film about freedom, in spite of everything, and the choice to act that each and every one of us can still seize. Bigger Than Us is also a sensitive photograph of young people on the move, and their struggles around issues such as social justice, the climate emergency, women's rights and access to food and education.

Filmed in seven countries - Lebanon, Malawi, Greece, the United States, Brazil, Uganda and Indonesia - Flore Vasseur meets young everyday fighters whose commitment can only galvanize us.
