CultureSciences – Youth Engaged in Making the World a Better Place.
As part of the Les CultureSciences series, the Institut Agro Montpellier, in partnership withUM, is organizing a special screening and discussion of the film “Bigger Than Us” by Flore Vasseur—director and producer of an inspiring documentary about youth activism around the world—on Tuesday, February 6, at 6 p.m. on the La Gaillarde campus.

"Bigger Than Us" is a film about youth—about its clarity of vision and its refusal to let our world fall apart. It is also a film about the fragility and beauty of life on this planet, our shared home, where joy and the art of working together and fighting together can still prevail.
It is a film about freedom—despite everything—and the choice to take action that each and every one of us can still embrace. *Bigger Than Us* is also a sensitive portrayal of this generation of young people on the move and their struggles around issues such as social justice, the climate crisis, women’s rights, and access to food and education.
Filmed in seven countries—Lebanon, Malawi, Greece, the United States, Brazil, Uganda, and Indonesia—Flore Vasseur sets out to meet young people who are fighting their daily battles, whose dedication cannot help but inspire us.
