This film is an intimate and courageous account of a unique personal experience.
In 2017, a young woman speaks with a man. Thirty-three years earlier, that same man had raped her. She was just a child at the time. That young woman is Maiana Bidegain, the director.
Through the questions it raises, *Meeting My Abuser* is a captivating, original, and sincere documentary. It truly challenges preconceptions and serves as a tribute to the victims.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Maiana Bidegain, the director.
The evening will conclude with a social gathering.
This event is presented in partnership with Arte Campus and is part of the collection *Sexual Violence: Voices of Victims*, available on the Arte Campus platform.
