More than one in three women undergoes an abortion at some point in her life. The student population is rarely targeted as such by major national public health campaigns (on contraception, abortion, etc.), even though abortions affect nearly 4% of female students each year.
We hear from Gaëlle de Decker, a psychologist and psychoanalyst who supports women and listens to the healthcare teams treating them in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Montpellier University Hospital, alongside Anne-Cécile Sicard, a physician in charge of prevention atUM a French Sign Language interpreter.
