The annual conference of the Collège des sociétés savantes académiques de France (College of Academic Learned Societies of France), co-organized by the College and its Montpellier branch, will be held on February 4, 2025, in Montpellier in the historic building of the Faculty of Medicine. The day will be structured around three round tables: "Should we stop research?"; "Science and public action: research on demand?"; "What type(s) of commitment, from individuals to institutions?"

The day will continue with a public lecture by Valérie Masson-Delmotte: "Taking action on climate change: how will science-society interactions change?" in the Pétrarque room at 6:30 p.m.
