Emma and Anaïs are inseparable, yet they are complete opposites. Adolescents follows their journey from the age of 13 to adulthood, five years of life filled with transformations and first experiences. At 18, we wonder what kind of women they have become and where their friendship stands. Through this chronicle of youth, the film also paints a portrait of France over the last five years.
